What does Arbor do with my data?

Arbor only uses your data to help you save on energy. We do not sell your data and we only share it with your permission. The only data we access is data associated with your utility bill and utility account.

Can I refer someone?

Our referral program is easy to use and guarantees both you and a friend receive $10. Simply log into your Arbor dashboard and look for the “Refer a Friend and Get Rewarded” box. Copy your unique referral code and share it with your friends. When they use your link and are switched to a new rate, you’ll both be rewarded $10.

Who do I contact if I have problems with my service?

If you have questions about Arbor's service, just email us anytime at support@joinarbor.com. If you have questions about your electricity service generally, you should contact your utility. If you have questions about your new rate after you have been enrolled through Arbor, you can contact Arbor or contact your new supplier directly. We will give you their contact information once you are enrolled.

How do I connect my utility account?

If you did not link your utility account during signup, you can link your utility account within your Arbor settings.

  1. Login to your Arbor dashboard
  2. Select your utility logo in the upper right-hand corner and select ‘Link Account’
  3. Follow the prompts to update your utility login details

Check out our eligibility FAQ page to understand the different ways you can link your specific utility. If available, an online utility account link is preferred for up to date utility data and personable recommendations.

How do I turn autopilot on / off?

We recommend enabling Autopilot to ensure maximum and expedited savings.

However, if you wish to toggle your Autopilot status, simply login to your Arbor dashboard and select your initials in the top right corner. Next, select the ‘Utility Account’ tab and update your Autopilot status to your preference.

Where can I find my new rate details?

Upon submission to a new rate plan, you can view your new rate details directly on your Arbor dashboard homepage. We’ll also send you a rate reservation email with all the details and a reminder email two weeks later.

What if my utility login details have changed?

If you’ve received a connection error notice from Arbor, simply:

  1. Login to your Arbor dashboard
  2. Select your utility logo in the upper right-hand corner
  3. Follow the prompt to update your utility login details

For all other cases, or if you have any trouble with the above, please email us at support@joinarbor.com. We’ll send you a link to update your credentials, ensuring we have your up to date utility account details so we can provide accurate account information and continue to find great rates for you.

How do I know how much I have saved?

Once your new rate goes into effect, your monthly statement email from Arbor will provide details on how much you've saved, both for the current month and throughout your time with Arbor.

You can also view your rate details, in comparison to your prior rate, directly on your Arbor dashboard.

What if I'm moving or have recently moved?

Typically when you move, you can transfer your supply rate to your new address if you’re staying with the same utility company territory.

If you’ve moved recently or are planning an upcoming move, let us know by submitting a move request through your Arbor dashboard. Simply select your utility logo in the top right corner. Select “Address”, then “I’m moving to a new address”. Once submitted, we’ll follow up to let you know the specific utility information needed to transfer your account over.

If you are dropped from your supply rate due to a move, we’ve got you covered. Once we have your updated utility account information, we’ll get you submitted to a new supply plan so you can enjoy savings at your new address.

What if I want to add another utility account?

Right now, Arbor supports only one utility account per user. If you wish to add a second account, please create a new Arbor account using a separate email address. If you need assistance with setting up a new account, feel free to reach out to our support team at support@joinarbor.com.

What if I want to cancel?

While we’re certain you’ll love our service, our support team is happy to help with any rate or account cancellation requests. You can make a cancellation request through our support chatbot in the lower right-hand side of your Arbor dashboard or by emailing us at support@joinarbor.com.

Once we receive your request, we’ll make sure to get back to you within one business day.
